Investigations
The investigators of the Lenoir City Police Department investigate crimes of a wide variety. The crimes range from arson to simple assault, as well as forgery and various types of fraud. Our investigators are constantly seeking leads, follow-up with witnesses, and relying on forensic evidence which is evaluated by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. For the period of January 1, 2012 thru December 31, 2012, the Lenoir City Police Department had our investigators assigned to handle approximately 1,178 cases. The department’s clearance rate was 33.79%.
There are many valuable resources which our detectives utilize when working on a case but the citizens of Lenoir City will almost always be the most valuable resource to our investigators.
